On Wednesday, November 19, Sarina Rivera spoke at CBI's 5th Annual Defining Appropriate and Effective Interactions with Thought Leaders and Key Opinion Leaders. Her speech entitled, “Comply with Federal and State Laws and Regulations that Impact KOL Programs,” looked at the increased scrutiny of pharmaceutical companies’ commercial and promotional efforts. With the increased scrutiny all departments need to take a more active role in ensuring compliance of their product marketing programs. All who are involved with KOL development and management programs should understand the current legal and regulatory environment to mitigate the risk of noncompliance. In this session, hear an update on the current laws and regulations that impact KOL programs and steps for maintaining compliance.
