John Oroho Presents at CBI's 3rd Annual Pharmaceutical Market Research Summit

John Patrick Oroho, Executive Vice President, Porzio Pharmaceutical Services, spoke at CBI's 3rd Annual Pharmaceutical Market Research Summit on April 28, 2008 in Philadelphia.
His presentation, entitled “Will Paying Physicians for Market Research Be Legal?” discussed individual state law issues; including the various false claims that are being enacted due to the Deficit Reduction Act provision which encourages states to enact False Claims Acts similar to the federal FCA. It will also discuss how the state board of pharmacy takes the position in their FAQs that market research is not a substantial bona fide service in a genuine research project under state gift prohibition laws.
