PPS Personnel Speak on Selling Challenges in the New Regulatory Environment

Scott S. Liebman and David E. Hammond spoke at CBI's "2nd Annual Leadership Summit on the Evolving Pharma Sales Model" on the topic, "Overcoming the Challenges of Selling in a New Regulatory Environment."  They covered the new rules with complex dynamics, new players and how the changes are affecting the marketing and sales practices of life sciences manufacturing and distribution operations.

Discussion topics included:
  • The penalties, provisions, disclosures and reporting requirements associated with the Physician's Payments Sunshine Act
  • Which states have enacted disclosure laws and what those laws require
  • Policies regarding pharmaceutical companies' interactions with medical school faculties
  • Updates to the PhRMA Code.

Mr. Liebman is Director of Regulatory and Compliance Services and Mr. Hammond is Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Porzio Pharmaceutical Services.
