Porzio Attorneys Speakers at Seton Hall Law Healthcare Compliance Certification Program

Linda Pissott Reig and Elizabeth H. Kim presented on two topics at Seton Hall Law School’s Healthcare Compliance Certification Program. In “State Marketing Laws Affecting Drug & Device Companies,” and on “Federal Healthcare Reform: Shedding Light on the Life Sciences Industry.” In the former, Linda and Liz discussed the laws of various states, including what laws are new in 2010, including a new law in Connecticut and new requirements in Massachusetts and Vermont. In the latter, they covered penalties and key dates of the healthcare reform act, public access to reported information and reports to Congress and to individual states. They also covered coping with compliance challenges.
