Porzio Pharmaceutical Services And Synergistix Launch

The collaborative solution offers a cutting-edge tool that gives pharmaceutical companies state-by-state aggregate expense tracking of expenditures relative to healthcare practitioners.
The web-based program, which captures a wide variety of expenses, compares company spending against state regulations, alerting pharmaceutical companies when the activities of their agents and employees approach or exceed limits set by the state, a medical facility or by the company. Expenses tracked within the system include payments associated with advertising, advisory boards, continuing medical education, clinical research, speaker/consulting fees, market research, HCP detailing expenditures and employer/contractor expenses.

One of the strongest selling points for this latest entrant to the PPS suite of compliance products is its compatibility with SFA and other data management systems. Not only does it track the expenditures, it also merges the data and enables pharmaceutical companies to submit required reports to states.
