JUSTIN C. HALLBERG is a Manager of Regulatory and Compliance Services for Porzio Pharmaceutical Services, LLC. Mr. Hallberg assists in the creation and development of new PPS products and collaborates with other PPS staff to ensure the accuracy, thoroughness and relevance of existing PPS products. He manages implementations of the company’s disclosure reporting tool, Porzio AggregateSpendID, and is a contributor to Porzio’s Pharmaspective blog, which discusses emerging trends and issues impacting the life sciences industry.
Mr. Hallberg is also an associate of Porzio, Bromberg and Newman P.C. and a member of the firm’s Life Sciences Compliance, Commercialization and Regulatory Counseling Department. In this role, he counsels pharmaceutical, medical device and biotechnology manufacturers on compliance with federal and state laws. He also works with manufacturers to establish compliance programs. Specifically, he has drafted policies designed to establish procedures for compliant interactions with healthcare practitioners, distribution of sample and trade product, marketing expense reporting, adverse event reporting, and dissemination of off-label product information, among other areas. Mr. Hallberg was formerly a member of the firm's Complex Tort Practice Group, in which he defended product manufacturers in product liability, mass tort and toxic tort litigation.
Mr. Hallberg earned a J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law - Newark in 2007, and a B.A. in English from Boston College in 2002. Before attending law school, Mr. Hallberg was a Teach for America Corps member in Paterson, New Jersey.
