NANCY A. HENSHAW is a Nurse Regulatory Specialist for Porzio Pharmaceutical Services, LLC. Ms. Henshaw is part of the core team responsible for the maintenance of the Mid-level Regulations Legend Drugs and Controlled Substances Databases of the Porzio Compliance Digest. In her role, Ms. Henshaw develops, maintains and supports the database by analyzing state laws and agency rules that regulate the prescriptive and sampling authority of various mid-level practitioners. Further, she researches and summarizes policies maintained by medical facilities and schools of medicine related to interactions with life sciences industry representatives.
Ms. Henshaw was formerly a member of the organization’s Transparency & Limitations Team, on which she shared responsibility for the development and support of the Transparency & Limitations Database of the Porzio Compliance Digest. In this role, she developed a comprehensive understanding of the state laws and federal legislation affecting the sales and marketing practices of the life sciences industry. While on this team, she also assisted in the development of state reporting protocols and the preparation and filing of sales and marketing disclosure reports. Additionally, Ms. Henshaw was a member of the Porzio AggregateSpendID team, on which she assisted customers in developing and implementing the company’s automated disclosure reporting tool.
Ms. Henshaw received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Hope College. She has been a Registered Nurse for over 25 years.
