Pharmaspective®
Porzio Pharmaceutical Services, LLC, ("PPS") announces the launch of the company's first blog, Pharmaspective® (http://www.pharmaspective.com). Pharmaspective™ examines the regulatory, business and technology issues and trends impacting the life sciences industry. Consistent with the knowledge sharing culture of PPS, the company has also developed a social media strategy, utilizing Twitter (@Pharmaspective and @PorzioPharma), LinkedIn and Facebook to increase the company's visibility online.
"Pharmaspective™ is a great forum for life sciences professionals to interact with each other and learn about significant regulatory, technology, and business trends impacting the industry," said blogger Justin C. Hallberg. Stephen T. Kopec, a Regulatory Analyst who spearheads PPS' Twitter initiative, echoes similar sentiments, "The growing presence of PPS in the digital space, specifically social media, is a big step towards greater involvement in the industry's online conversation."
New to PPS, but a veteran of the industry, Michelle Axelrod, will oversee editorial content of the blog. She brings fifteen years of in-house experience at leading life sciences and related healthcare organizations to her role as Vice President of PPS. Having counseled corporate legal, compliance, sales and marketing departments from within, Ms. Axelrod is well versed in the inner workings of the life sciences industry. In addition to her responsibilities at PPS, Ms. Axelrod is also a principal of Porzio, Bromberg & Newman P.C. ("Porzio").
The company's primary blogger is Justin C. Hallberg, Manager of Regulatory and Compliance Services with PPS, and an attorney with Porzio. He works closely with life sciences companies to create, develop and enhance compliance programs and to implement solutions to help them meet state and federal requirements. He is an alumnus of Boston College (BA, 2002), Teach for America (Corps Member, 2002 to 2004), and Rutgers University School of Law (JD, 2007).
As a PPS Regulatory Analyst, Stephen T. Kopec helps drive the company's comprehensive social media initiative. He is also a member of the core team responsible for distribution licensing services. Prior to joining PPS, he was employed by a global public relations agency that provides strategic communications solutions to leading pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. Mr. Kopec received a Bachelor of Arts from Syracuse University in 2007.
